Peg Loom Weaving
Peg loom weaving is one of the oldest known forms of weaving. A simple, ancient practice that predates industrial looms and was once found in homes across the land. Using the magick of wooden pegs, fibre, and our hands, we will step into this slow, rhythmic way of making that our ancestors would have known well.
Over the day, I will guide you through weaving your own peg loom sit mat. As we work, we’ll weave through our hands into the cloth, repetition, rhythm, and intention. Allowing your mat to become more than a practical object.
It can be used on the land while tending fire or garden, at the threshold of an altar, in meditation, ritual, or simply as a grounded place to rest your body.
This is a practice of remembering: how intention can be woven into function, and how the things we make can quietly hold and carry our wishes.

Something comfortable to sit on (there will be tables and chairs to craft on but you may choose to sit on the floor.)
Our gathering will take place at Westhope College in Craven Arms, Shropshire.
